The Good:
Le 2 de Guerlain mascara is an engineering masterpiece in the mascara wand world, and as promised the mascara’s duel-ended wand leaves no lash behind. The tiny want helps cover any tiny lashes that would normally escape the larger wand. After coating all smaller lashes with the tiny wand, we switched to larger wand to sweep the rest of the lashes. Two coats of mascara was all it took for longer and thicker lashes. The mascara manages a thicker looking lash while still separating the lashes.
The Bad:
Although the pro’s of this mascara much outweigh the cons, there are some things to be noted. The first of those is re-applying mascara throughout the day comes with problems. Although two coats will go on well back to back, once the mascara dries, reapplies another coat often leads to clumping. The second, possibly larger, problem is the price: $35.
The Bottom Line::
Although the $35 price tag makes this mascara one of the most expensive around, we have to say it is entirely worth the price. We don’t suggest making this your daily mascara however, instead save this one for nights out, and find a drug store brand mascara that will work for your daily wear.
